Mary McCormack is an American actor who has been known for her leading role in the TV series 'Murder', 'The West Wing In Plain Sight', and 'Loaded'. Additionally, she is known for her roles in films that she's appeared on, including "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack comes from an unrelated family. McCormack's parents are a clinical psychotherapist and the owner of an local ice-cream establishment. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in 1990, she went to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. Her graduation was in the BA program in comparative arts. When she began her career, she was only 12 when appeared on stage in the opera "Amahl's Night People". She continued to play in theatre and ultimately bagged parts on the small and the big screens. Her versatility is recognized today. Michael Morris (producer/director) is McCormack's husband. McCormack and Morris have three daughters.
