Bella Poarch born in Philippines the 9th of February 1997 in Philippines. Her parents are Filipino parents were Filipinos. She was adopted at the age of 3 by her grandmother who was a slum dweller. Her adopted father, a Philippine-American from a military background, has a white background and is American. She says that her and her brother who was adopted when infants, were subject to abuse until they enlisted. The family moved across the country to San Francisco for a few months to live with her aunt before moving to Texas when she was 13 due the need of her father for bypass surgery. The father was not able to end the mental abuse even though she says that physical violence had subsided. Poarch enlisted in the United States Navy when she was 18 years old. Poarch started her TikTok account in April of 202020. She quickly rose to fame, amassing over 40 million followers in under eight months. Her biggest success was her video for Millie B's hit song Soph Aspin Send. A zoomed-in clip of her lip-syncing rhythmically to the melody and jumping into the song became a viral clip that became TikTok's top-rated video. To take advantage of the fame she gained after joining TikTok in December 2016, Poarch launched her YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. The adulation of Poarch's growing fame reached its peak at the end of December in 2020. It was reported that she drew the attention of two big professional Esports organizations. FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves are both interested in having her work as a content creator freelance to promote their brands.
